About the role

This is a hands-on position involving the day-to-day operation of the lodge, including welcoming guests and assisting with their accommodation needs, maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming lodge environment, and monitoring the lodge's condition and coordinating maintenance needs with the Club Board. Summer occupancy varies, with more guests over weekends and holiday periods and generally quieter midweek operations.

About you

- Friendly, reliable, organised and able to work independently

- Practical, proactive and comfortable undertaking hands-on duties

- Experienced in hospitality, accommodation management or a similar environment

- Comfortable living and working in a communal accommodation setting





- An interest in mountain biking, bushwalking or the outdoor lifestyle would be an advantage

- Australian working rights and hold or ability to obtain a Working With Children check

About us

Skilib Alpine Club is a member-owned alpine lodge located at Mount Buller. The lodge provides a welcoming, family-friendly workplace for members, guests and public visitors, many of whom come to enjoy the region's mountain biking, bushwalking and other outdoor activities.
