Senior Dental Receptionist (Front Office Manager)

Murdoch Endodontics is a modern, established, and busy specialist practice dedicated to exceptional patient care and clinical excellence. Operating with two clinicians and a fully computer-integrated workflow, we pride ourselves on maintaining an efficient and caring environment for our patients and referring dentists. In this senior administrative role, you will be the anchor of our front office, overseeing day-to-day administrative flow and supporting our clinicians.

Key responsibilities

Oversee front-of-house coordination, appointment scheduling, and diary optimisation for 2 active clinicians

Manage accurate report typing, specialist referral letters, and general clinical documentation (with the support of three other staff)

Utilise fully computerised practice management software for appointment bookings, digital forms, and patient records

Deliver warm, empathetic, and professional customer service during arrivals, consultations, and triage enquiries

Manage patient billings, HICAPS claims, EFTPOS transactions, and daily banking reconciliations

About you

Minimum 3+ years of dental reception / front office experience (specialist dental exposure is highly regarded)

Relevant dental assisting/administration certificates (e.g.,



Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting or Business Administration) are highly desirable

Robust digital literacy with fast, accurate typing skills for clinical reports and letters

Experience with computerised dental practice management software

Available to commit to at least 3 days per week (weekday business hours)

High initiative, reliability, polished presentation, and confidence to manage front-office administration independently

Competitive starting rate of $35.00 – $42.00 per hour plus superannuation
