About the Role

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a protected, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, staff, and visitors. This position combines proactive security duties with exceptional customer service, requiring a professional presence, strong situational awareness, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.

Position Type: Casual

Award Level: Level 2 - $36.55 per hour

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets.
- Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence on site.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks in accordance with site procedures and company policies.




- Ensure compliance with all site-specific and organisational security protocols.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- A current and valid Security Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous security experience, with retail security experience highly regarded.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular patrol duties.
- The ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
- A demonstrated history of reliability, professionalism, and punctuality.
- Full Australian working rights.
