As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Department within the store, leading your team to deliver an exceptional fresh food offering to our customers.

We are looking for a passionate foodie who can lead their team, who embraces change and who can create a market winning offer for their local community.

We have permanent part-time and full-time salaried positions available north of the river and south of the river.

Skills required:

- Previous Retail Department Manager experience, Deli departments are preferred
- Passionate about food and creating memorable food experiences
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability




- Ability to manage and lead the team, ensuring compliance to food safety standards
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- IT knowledge/Microsoft/Smart Retail/ABCIS

- To have full responsibility for the successful operation of the Department within the store
- To lead and develop your team
- To work closely with the local community and display an ‘of course’ attitude
- To ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and requirements in the store
