About the Role

Are you an experienced supervisor or leading hand who enjoys working outdoors? TDA Land Management is seeking a practical, safety-focused Supervisor / Team Leader to lead a small team delivering land management and conservation services within the mining industry in the Gunnedah area.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with mining, leading hand or supervisory experience who leads from the front, communicates clearly and takes pride in completing work safely and to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

· Lead, support and coordinate a small field team

· Complete daily paperwork and iPad-based compliance requirements accurately

· Undertake chemical spraying and herbicide application

· Complete tree planting and revegetation works

· Install and maintain rural fencing

· Carry out vegetation management and other land management activities

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a reliable and highly motivated people leader with a strong work ethic, sound judgement and excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable working alongside your team in physically demanding outdoor conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Basic computer skills are essential,



and previous experience in mining, land management, conservation, vegetation management or a similar field will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

· Availability to work Monday to Friday, five days per week

· A current driver licence and reliable transport

· Ability to pass an Order 45 medical, as required for all NSW mine sites, including compliance with strict drug and alcohol policies

· AQF3 Chemical Use accreditation, or previous experience in weed identification and chemical use

· A sound understanding of risk management and the ability to follow secure work procedures and practices

· Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively

· Basic computer and iPad skills
