We are looking for an experienced, fast and reliable Barista to join our busy café team in Main Beach.

The successful applicant will be confident working in a high-volume café environment and able to maintain excellent coffee quality during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages
- Work efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods
- Dial in coffee and monitor grind, extraction and coffee quality throughout the day
- Steam milk quickly and consistently with valuable texture
- Prepare multiple coffee orders at once while maintaining accuracy
- Keep the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked
- Communicate clearly with FOH staff and assist the team during busy periods
- Restock milk, cups, coffee beans and other bar supplies
- Follow cleaning, hygiene and food-safety procedures
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers





What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a barista in a busy café
- Strong espresso and milk-steaming skills
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Comfortable handling a high volume of coffee orders
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Available for early morning and weekend shifts
- Able to remain calm and organised during busy service

Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 44.0 per week
