About Us
BTYT Group Pty Ltd, trading as Sushi Hills, is an established sushi takeaway business located in Pennant Hills, NSW. We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee our daily store operations, manage staff and inventory, drive sales performance and maintain high standards of customer service and food retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall retail operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures
- Review and manage the range of sushi and takeaway menu offerings based on customer preferences, sales trends and demand, while maintaining appropriate product availability and customer service standards
- Set, monitor and achieve sales targets, and analyse sales and trading reports to identify opportunities
- Recruit, train, roster, supervise and evaluate store staff, including counter and kitchen staff
- Plan and manage stock levels, supplier orders, deliveries and inventory control to ensure product availability, freshness and minimal wastage
- Develop and implement product display, pricing and promotional strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
- Prepare and manage the store budget, control costs and monitor profit margins
- Oversee cash handling, POS operation and daily financial reconciliation
- Handle customer enquiries,



feedback and complaints to a high standard
- Maintain store presentation, workplace health and safety, and compliance with consumer law and company policies
- Develop and manage online and takeaway sales channels
- Report regularly to the Directors on store performance and improvement opportunities

Skills and Experience

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in retail management, store management or a similar supervisory role, preferably within food retail,takeaway or hospitality operations
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and leading a team
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, merchandising and POS systems
- Solid financial, budgeting and reporting skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail or inventory management software

Qualifications

- Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Hospitality, Retail or a related field
- Candidates with extensive relevant retail management experience will also be considered
