N & S Care provides personal care and daily living support to people with disabilities and aged care needs. We help each person maintain their dignity, make their own choices and live as independently as possible.

We are seeking reliable and caring Personal Care Workers to join our team in Belmore. Your main role will be to provide direct personal care according to each person’s care plan.

Key responsibilities

· Assist with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

· Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning, following safe manual handling procedures and care plans.

· Assist with eating and drinking, meal preparation and individual dietary needs.

· Provide medication assistance within your training, authorisation and the person’s care plan.

· Support daily routines and encourage independence in personal care activities.

· Observe and report changes in health, wellbeing and care needs to the supervisor.

· Maintain accurate care records and progress notes.

· Assist with household tasks, appointments and community activities as required.

· Follow infection control procedures and report incidents, hazards and concerns.

· Respect each person’s privacy,



dignity and choices, and maintain professional boundaries.

Qualifications and requirements

· Certificate III in Individual Support, or an equivalent relevant qualification; applicants with relevant experience will also be considered.

· Experience providing personal care in disability support, aged care or a similar setting. The candidate must be versatile and willing to work across morning, evening, and night shifts, as per business requirements.

· Good communication skills and a patient, respectful approach.

· Ability to follow individual care plans and work independently and as part of a team.

· NDIS Worker Screening Check.

· Working With Children Check, where applicable.

· Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

· National Police Check.

· Valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.

· Australian work rights.
