TODAE SOLAR specialised in the design and installation of large scale commercial solar electricity systems. Due to business expansions and to meet customers’ expectations, our Information Technology Department has a vacancy for an Analyst Programmer to design, code and maintain software applications that track solar production, manage customer and asset data and integrate company and related entities’ systems. The role includes both customers facing portals (sales/billing) and backend solar plant/SCADA monitoring

Responsibilities:

- Translate business needs from solar operations, engineering, and sales teams into clear software specifications and system plans.
- Write, test, and maintain software programs, APIs, and database scripts to handle solar PV performance data, SCADA monitoring feeds, or ERP workflows.
- Connect enterprise software or software integration (such as CRM, billing platforms, and GIS mapping tools) with renewable energy monitoring and weather forecasting systems.
- Diagnose and resolve software bugs, performance bottlenecks, or database synchronization issues.




- Produce technical documentation, user guides, and system architecture diagrams for maintenance and compliance.

Requirements:

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C#, or .NET, alongside front-end or database technologies (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with renewable energy concepts (such as solar PV performance metrics, inverter APIs, or energy dispatch data) is a solid advantage.
