Job description:

Our purpose built facility ice cream manufacturing facility in Derrimut is being upgraded and we are on the look out for skilled Machine Operators to join our growing team with roles available on both Morning and Afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within gelativo's OH&S;, Quality and Foods Safety Standards
- Working on highly automated machinery, experience in a similar role is required (Experience with tub filling in FMCG would be preferred)
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
- Mechanically minded with exposure to machine set changes
- Support your crew with product change over's and line shut downs

The Ingredients for Success:

There are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

- Previous experience preferred in dairy/food/beverage industry




- Ability to work independently and as a member of a Team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines
- Understanding of safety, hygiene, allergen and quality operating principles
- Good attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to manual handle up to 20kg
- Able to work day shifts from 6:00am - 2:00pm plus any overtime when required or Afternoon Shift 12pm - 8pm

PPE & onsite uniform are provided and there is ample car parking available

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38.0 per week

Experience:

- Dairy/Food/Beverage Production: 1 year (Preferred)
- Machine operating: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (Required)

Ability to Commute:

- Derrimut VIC (Required)
