Interested in starting your business career in 2027?

Campbelltown City Council is hosting 12-month Business Administration traineeships through My Gateway across the five areas profiled below. Trainees complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business Administration while gaining paid, hands-on experience in a local government environment. Each trainee is released from routine duties for a minimum of three paid hours per week, averaged over four weeks, for formal study.

The program suits people who are starting their administration career or looking for a fresh start. No previous experience is required. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in working with the community. Eligibility is in line with My Gateway's traineeship criteria.

Campbelltown City Council is an equal chance employer and is committed to an inclusive, welcoming workplace. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with disability, and we will discuss reasonable adjustments with any candidate who needs them.
