ITSARA, Thai restaurant in Nedlands is seeking an experienced, passionate Chef / Cook (expertise in authentic Thai cuisine) to join our dedicated kitchen team immediately.

We are a high-volume, farm-to-table venue growing specialized Thai produce on our own Swan Valley farm—harvested daily—and pairing it with traditional, uncompromising Thai cooking techniques. If you care about working with pristine, farm-fresh ingredients on the line, this is the environment for you.
Thai language fluency is highly regarded to effectively communicate with our existing kitchen team.
This role requires someone with solid experience in authentic Thai cuisine, fast-paced service, and confident wok skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of authentic Thai dishes using daily farm-fresh harvests
- Wok cooking during busy service periods
- Maintain high standards of food quality, flavour balance, and consistency
- Assist with kitchen organisation, stock, and cleanliness
- Work closely with a Thai-speaking kitchen team
About You
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
- Experience in Thai or Southeast Asian cuisine preferred
- Strong wok cooking skills and ability to handle fast-paced service
- Good understanding of flavour balance and cooking techniques
- Respect for farm-to-table culinary philosophy and fresh, seasonal produce
- Reliable, organised, and works well in a team
- Thai language skills highly regarded
