Vitality Support Care is looking for a compassionate, patient, and reliable female NDIS Support Worker with her own vehicle to support a 40-year-old male participant with community access activities.
The participant is naturally shy and experiences social anxiety and low self-confidence. He may find it challenging to participate in group activities and connect with people his own age. He also experiences difficulties with coordination and has multiple disabilities that may not be immediately apparent.
We are looking for someone who can provide encouragement, build trust, and help him feel comfortable participating in community activities at his own pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the participant with community access and social activities.
- Encourage social participation and confidence-building.
- Assist the participant to explore suitable activities based on his interests and preferences.
- Provide patient, respectful, and person-centred support.
- Help the participant develop independence and feel more comfortable in social settings.
- Provide safe transport to community activities using your own vehicle, as required.
Essential Requirements
- Female Support Worker.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, understanding, and encouraging approach.
- Availability to commence immediately.
- Previous experience supporting people with disabilities or social anxiety is highly regarded.

You are someone who understands that building confidence takes time. You can create a protected and supportive environment without putting pressure on the participant, and you enjoy helping people develop independence and discover activities they genuinely enjoy.
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
