About us

Urban Spud is a local takeaway business specialising in fresh, delicious loaded potatoes. We’re looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking casual team members to join our team in Williamstown.

Your responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly customer service.
- Prepare and serve food according to our recipes and food-safety standards.
- Learn our menu and confidently recommend items to customers.
- Handle orders from the counter and delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.
- Keep the kitchen, service area and dining area clean.
- Wash dishes, follow cleaning procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
- Work efficiently and communicate respectfully with team members.
- Follow instructions, accept feedback and work as part of a team.

What we’re looking for

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.




- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to prepare and handle all menu items.
- Availability for a mix of weekday, evening and weekend shifts is an advantage.

Experience

Hospitality experience is welcome but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

Employment details

- Casual position.
- Location: Urban Spud, Williamstown, Victoria.
- Pay: Applicable award rate based on age, classification and shift conditions.
- Shifts offered according to business requirements.
