We're chasing a hands-on Trade Assistant to join a growing steel manufacturer based on the coast.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- $32–$34/hr depending on experience
- Permanent full-time position
- Day shift – Monday to Friday
- Daily overtime available
- Workshop-based – same location every day
- Berkeley Vale location – keep the commute local
- Opportunity to learn machine operating
THE ROLE
You'll be working alongside an experienced team manufacturing steel framing systems for the construction industry.
- Assembling steel frames and components
- Using hand and power tools
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
- Assisting with machine operation
- Reading measurements and following basic drawings
- General workshop duties and keeping production moving
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing or construction environment
- Confident using hand and power tools – essential
- Able to read a tape measure and work accurately
- Mechanically minded with a valuable attitude
- Reliable, physically fit and willing to get stuck in
- Forklift licence advantageous, not essential
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
