About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Sales and Operations Associate to support the sales, coordination and delivery of our Education & Experiences programs across Australia.

This varied, hands-on role combines sales and business development, booking coordination, client and presenter relationships, and process improvement.

You will manage enquiries and bookings from first contact through to program delivery and follow-up, helping clients find suitable cultural experiences while identifying opportunities for repeat bookings and new business.

We are looking for someone commercially minded and organised who enjoys building relationships, takes initiative and can confidently manage multiple priorities.

This role will report to the organisation’s Chief Revenue Officer once that position is appointed.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Manage enquiries from schools, early learning centres, councils, community organisations and corporate clients, recommending suitable programs and preparing quotes.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through timely follow-up,

clear communication and an understanding of client needs.
- Work towards agreed sales, booking, conversion and client retention targets.
- Identify opportunities for repeat bookings, re-engagement and new business through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Coordinate bookings from initial enquiry through to delivery and follow-up, including presenter availability, scheduling, agreements and program logistics.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, cultural presenters and performers.
- Work closely with colleagues to coordinate priorities and keep bookings and follow-up activities progressing.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing engagement of Cultural Infusion’s national network of cultural presenters.
- Gather client and presenter feedback to support program quality and development.
- Maintain accurate records in Zoho CRM, including client details, booking information, sales opportunities and follow-up tasks.
- Monitor your sales pipeline and contribute to reporting on sales activity, bookings and client engagement.
- Identify and help implement improvements to systems, processes and the client experience.
- Collaborate with marketing and other internal teams on campaigns, outreach and growth opportunities.
- Contribute ideas for new programs, partnerships and markets.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should briefly address the following criteria in their application.

Essential:

- Experience in sales, business development or client relationship management, including converting enquiries,

securing repeat business or achieving sales targets.
- Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage enquiries, sales opportunities, follow-up and client records.
- Sound commercial judgement, with an understanding of pricing, revenue and customer retention.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Initiative, practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Confidence monitoring sales activity and using results to improve your approach.

Highly desirable:

- Experience in education, cultural programs, events, community engagement or a related sector.
- Experience working with schools, early learning centres, councils, community organisations or corporate clients.
- Experience using Zoho CRM.
- Experience coordinating performers, presenters or external service providers.
- An understanding of culturally respectful program delivery and intercultural education.

Success in the Role

Success in this role means converting enquiries into bookings, building lasting client relationships and coordinating programs efficiently from first contact through to delivery.

You will contribute to revenue growth through proactive sales and follow-up, maintain accurate booking and CRM records, and help clients and presenters feel informed and supported throughout their experience.
