Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated Support Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential daily support to individuals with diverse needs, helping them build independence, achieve their personal goals, and actively participate in their local community. Key Responsibilities

- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Community Engagement: Accompany and support clients during social outings, appointments, recreational activities, and shopping trips.
- Skill Development: Guide clients in building practical life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and utilising public transport.
- Emotional Support: Provide meaningful companionship, active listening, and a safe environment built on trust and respect.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential,



and timely progress notes and incident reports in line with organisational policies.

About You (Selection Criteria)

- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field (or a willingness to obtain).
- Experience: Prior experience in a support worker, care, or community-based role is highly regarded, but a genuine passion for helping others is essential.
- Core Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.
- Compliance Requirements:

- - Valid Driver Licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle registered in your name.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
- Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or relevant state equivalent).
