- Preparing and cooking menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Assisting with daily kitchen operations and service preparation.
- Supporting the Chef or Restaurant Manager with menu preparation and seasonal food ideas.
- Checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when required.
- Receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients correctly.
- Following HACCP procedures, food safety standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Assisting with portion control, food presentation, and reducing waste.
- Supporting and guiding junior kitchen staff when needed.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
