The Opportunity
Ready to get behind the wheel and help keep Sea World looking its best? Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisors, you’ll play an important part in our daily cleaning operations, emptying bins front of house and using a forklift to move industrial bins back of house ready for daily collection.

Key Responsibilities
From daily collections to moving waste and recycling across the park, you’ll be:

- Working shifts from 10am–5:30pm (peak time)/ 10:00am–4:30pm (off-peak time)
- Following bin collection schedules to ensure the correct bin allocations are put out for collection
- Moving industrial waste, cardboard cages, compost bins and recycling bins to relevant locations
- Assisting with emptying all bins from front of house and back of house
- Assisting with separating containers for the Containers for Change initiative
- Following all policies and procedures when operating a forklift on site
- Following correct manual handling procedures
- Assisting with unloading deliveries using the forklift
- Assisting with general cleaning tasks around the park if required, including cleaning bathrooms, hosing pathways, cleaning stadiums and vacuuming

What We’re Looking For
Got the licences, experience to take this hands-on role? You’ll bring:

- A current forklift license is essential.
- A current drivers license is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Punctuality, dependability and trustworthiness, with a strong work ethic
- Effective communication and people skills,



with the ability to be assertive and self-motivated and a desire to work in a customer service-based role. Decision-making ability is an advantage
- A professional attitude and appearance
- An enthusiastic and dedicated approach, with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute suggestions for improvements and innovative ideas
- Physical fitness with a can-do attitude
