About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, creative and experienced Chef to join our team for the opening of a new café in the heart of Paddington.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new hospitality concept from the beginning, helping to shape a thoughtful, seasonal menu focused on fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully prepared food.

We are seeking someone who brings creativity, initiative and a genuine love of food, alongside the practical skills and organisation needed to run a successful café kitchen.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and execution of a fresh, seasonal café menu.Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation.Manage food preparation, ordering, stock control and inventory.Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation.Monitor food costs, minimise waste and manage kitchen efficiency.Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a welcoming and consistent guest experience.Assist in establishing kitchen systems, processes and standards ahead of opening.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef in a quality café,



restaurant or similar hospitality environment.A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and thoughtfully prepared food.Creativity and confidence in menu development.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage kitchen operations independently.A sound understanding of food costing, stock management and food safety requirements.A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.Someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail and enjoys being part of a small, team-oriented team.
