The Role:
We’re seeking a talented, creative and motivated Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef to further motivate and lead the existing kitchen brigade.
This role is ideal for a chef who is ready to step up, express their creativity, and help bring something new to life. WE require a solid candidate who can express their creativity, control food and labour cost to industry standards, and to work with the owner and venue manager to improve the overall offering.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Accountable to operate the kitchen, ordering and CGS/Labour rostering and control
- Assisting with kitchen prep, service and operations
- Create and lead the daytime and dinner service
- Bringing creativity and fresh ideas to menu development and presentation
- Upholding high standards of food quality, consistency,
and hygiene
- Contributing to a positive and respectful kitchen culture
About You:
- Proven experience in a quick-paced kitchen environment (ideally at Sous/Head chef level)
- Strong foundation in modern Australian or international cuisine
- A genuine passion for seasonal, produce-driven food
- Team-focused with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Calm under pressure, with attention to detail and pride in your work
- Available evenings and weekends as we build our dinner service
- Can utilise Deputy software and basic Microsoft suite/office skills
