We’re seeking a compassionate and reliable support worker to assist a gentleman in his 60s in Bowral. This role involves supporting his daily needs, encouraging community participation and maintaining a comfortable home.
Shift schedule – 18 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10:30 am–2:30 pm
- Wednesday: 10:30 am–12:30 pm
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care while respecting the client’s dignity and privacy.
- Support community outings, social activities and participation.
- Assist with general cleaning and household tasks.
- Encourage independence and follow the client’s preferences and support plan.
About you
- Previous experience in disability support or aged care.
- A caring, patient and respectful approach.
- Robust communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
- Availability for the shifts listed above.
Pay: $36.00 – $46.70 per hour
