About the role

Rapid Recovery Health Pty Ltd is seeking caring, reliable Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants across Sydney. You will help people build independence, participate in their community and work towards their individual goals while respecting their choices, dignity and privacy.

Support needs vary between participants. Duties will be matched to the participant’s support plan and your skills, training and experience.

What you’ll do

- Support daily routines, personal care and household tasks in line with individual support plans.

- Assist with meal preparation, shopping, appointments and community activities.

- Encourage independence, social connection and participation in meaningful activities.

- Communicate respectfully with participants, their families and the support team.

- Keep accurate progress notes and promptly report incidents, hazards or changes in wellbeing.

- Follow support plans, protected work practices and organisational policies.

- Provide medication or mobility assistance only where trained, authorised and directed by the relevant plan.

What we’re looking for

- A compassionate,



dependable approach and respect for participant choice and control.

- Clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to work independently.

- Relevant disability support, aged care or community support experience; a relevant Certificate III or IV is desirable.

- Australian work rights and willingness to complete relevant pre-employment screening.

- NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness to obtain it before undertaking applicable duties.

- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain these before starting.

- Willingness to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

- A Working with Children Check where the role involves child-related work.

- A current driver’s licence and access to a suitably insured vehicle where participant transport is required.
