Dave's Paint & Panel is looking for a qualified Panel Beater to join our team.

We're passionate about restoration, keeping the skills of this trade alive, and embracing new methods and technology. We want to keep repairing incredible cars and help keep the skills of this trade alive for generations to come.

Now our team is evolving too, and we're looking for panel beaters with solid bodywork skills, an eye for detail and a genuine willingness to learn.

We're looking for someone with solid panel beating skills, an eye for detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You don't need years of restoration experience or extensive knowledge of classic cars. What matters is that you know your trade, take pride in your work and are ready to develop your skills.

The role:

- Carry out panel repairs and bodywork independently
- Work on restoration projects that require patience, precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the team to achieve a high standard of workmanship
- Follow workshop procedures, safety requirements and reasonable directions
- Learn restoration techniques and adapt your existing skills to suit different projects
- Communicate clearly about job progress, additional work and any issues that arise

What we're looking for:

- A recognised trade qualification in automotive body repair
- The ability to carry out panel repairs and bodywork independently
- Solid attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A conscientious approach to quality, safety and completing work properly
- Someone who can take direction, accept feedback and adapt when methods need to change
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A genuine willingness to learn and improve

Never worked in restoration? That's okay.





Coming from smash repairs? Great! You already have valuable skills and experience to bring to the table. We're interested in people who are willing to adapt their knowledge to suit the different demands of restoration. You might teach us something too!

Mostly worked on smaller, quick-turnaround jobs? That's fine. Restoration can involve spending considerably longer on a vehicle, working through complex details and taking the time to get things right. We're prepared to help the right person develop in this area.

You don't need to know everything when you start. You do need to be willing to learn.
