STORE PERSON - DISPATCH

The Pastry Lounge is a boutique food manufacturing business based in Bayswater North, specialising in hand-made canapes for the events industry. We’re a family-run business with a busy, friendly team, and we take real pride in what we make and how it gets to our customers.

We’re looking for a Store Person to join our dispatch team. It’s a hands-on role where accuracy and teamwork make all the difference. Full training will be provided and supervised by our friendly team, although some experience in a similar environment would be a help.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be working as part of the dispatch team to get our daily orders out the door, including:

- Picking and packing orders for our delivery drivers
- Reading picking slips accurately and checking orders are complete
- Working together to dispatch daily orders efficiently
- Picking and storing orders for the following day as directed by the warehouse supervisor

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR





- Physically fit and able to lift 25kg
- Comfortable working in a freezer setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in a warehouse, dispatch or similar environment is an advantage

Preference will be given to applicants who show great communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in taking on more responsibility in the future.

HOURS

- 11am to 4pm

THE PROCESS

Successful applicants will be invited to a 1 hour paid trial to assess abilities and suitability for the role.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
