Gemini Wine Bar is a much-loved community wine bar and restaurant on Sydney Road, Coburg, also open daily for coffee, pastries and pantry. We’re after an experienced Senior Front of House team member who loves wine, good food and great service, for about 25 hours a week (4–5 shifts), starting as soon as possible.

The hours

- Approx. 25 hours a week over 4–5 shifts a week
- Mostly evenings including Fri and Sat nights, plus at a few Sunday day shifts.
- Sun, Mon and Tue nights off (we’re closed)
- Casual or part time, whichever suits you

The role

- Delivering polished, warm table and bar service
- Working alongside our Venue Manager to keep the floor flowing and standards high
- Talking wine with guests and guiding them through our list
- Helping close a couple of nights a week, including cash-off and lock-up

You’ll suit this if you have

- 2+ years front of house in restaurants,



wine bars or quality à la carte venues
- Solid wine knowledge and confidence recommending it
- A love of looking after people and making regulars feel at home
- Confidence on a busy dinner service
- A calm, reliable, responsible approach and a team-first attitude
- WSET or hospitality trade qualifications are a bonus
