$32.13 per hour | 16 hours per week | Weekend Shifts

Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, totalling 16 hours per week.

About the chance

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Chef to join our team at Uniting Nareen Gardens. You'll play an important role in preparing nutritious,



appealing meals for residents while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking quality meals for residents.
Managing bulk cooking and daily food preparation.
Preparing texture-modified meals in line with individual dietary requirements.
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Working independently to ensure meals are delivered on time and to specification.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

A recognised trade qualification in commercial cookery.
Experience in food preparation and bulk cooking.
Knowledge of texture-modified foods and special dietary requirements.
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
A commitment to food quality, safety and resident wellbeing.
A National Police Check and the required flu vaccination.
