About the role:

Lawmee is working with a progressive and innovative law firm to secure an experienced Property Lawyer to support their award-winning Property Team on a flexible contracting basis.

Commencing as soon as possible, this part-time opportunity is expected to run for approximately 6 months, with an initial commitment of approximately 4-6 hours per week and capacity to increase over time as the scope of work develops.

You will work alongside senior property lawyers, providing technical oversight and quality assurance across a broad range of Victorian property matters.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing and settling complex property and conveyancing matters.

- Reviewing and settling solicitor certificates and letters of advice.

- Settling complex contract reviews, including off-the-plan, retirement village, building and commercial matters.

- Advising on subdivisions, boundary realignments, adverse possession applications and related property matters.

- Preparing or reviewing complex stamping applications.

- Reviewing and settling family loan agreements.

- Acting as a technical escalation point for complex matters.





Who we are looking for:

We would like to speak to lawyers with 12+ years’ PAE, ideally gained in leading national or international firms. You will bring strong technical drafting and risk management skills, along with the ability to provide practical, commercial advice on complex property matters.

This engagement would suit an established lawyer seeking flexible consulting work, portfolio work, or an ongoing advisory relationship with a progressive and creative law firm.
