Show Neua Thai is a Thai restaurant in Haymarket seeking an experienced and organised Venue Manager to oversee the venue’s overall operations, business performance and customer experience.

About the role

Working closely with the business owners and our existing Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for the venue’s broader operational and commercial performance. You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering daily restaurant service while overseeing budgets, staffing needs, supplier relationships and operational improvements.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the venue’s overall operations, ensuring staffing, resources and business activities are coordinated effectively.
- Develop and implement operational plans, procedures and service standards in consultation with the owners.
- Work with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen team to identify operational issues and implement improvements.
- Monitor sales, operating expenses and labour costs, and report on performance to the owners.
- Review staffing requirements and oversee recruitment, training and performance management with the Restaurant Manager.
- Manage supplier relationships,



review purchasing arrangements and monitor stock control procedures.
- Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliation and financial reporting procedures.
- Coordinate venue maintenance, equipment servicing and repairs.
- Work with the owners on marketing activities, promotions and opportunities to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor customer feedback and support the Restaurant Manager in resolving escalated complaints.
- Oversee compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and applicable licensing requirements.

About you

- A relevant qualification in hospitality management, business management or a related field, or substantial relevant industry experience.
- Experience managing hospitality operations, including budgets, staffing and supplier relationships.
- Robust leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with the owners, Restaurant Manager and kitchen team.

Experience in a Thai restaurant or a similar dining environment will be highly regarded.
