Sydney High Pressure Washing is seeking a reliable and hands-on Chute Cleaner to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining chute systems across residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.

You will play a critical role in ensuring chute systems remain clean, safe, operational, and compliant. The role involves clearing blockages, deep cleaning chute systems, and carrying out routine servicing and minor maintenance works.

This is a physically active, site-based role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and working independently across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Clear blockages from chute systems

- Carry out deep cleaning of chutes, doors, and waste rooms

- Perform routine servicing and basic maintenance of chute systems

- Identify faults or damage and report required repairs

- Maintain safe work practices and use PPE at all times

- Complete job reports, photos, and service notes

- Represent SHPW professionally on site

- After-hours callouts





- Communicate with building/strata managers, onsite personnel

- Hands-on role requiring competent use of hand tools and maintenance equipment

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence

- Physically fit and able to perform manual work

- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable working in waste environments

- White Card (preferred but not essential)

- Police Check (preferred)

- Previous cleaning desirable
