ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced ROLLER DOOR INSTALLER to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. This hands-on role involves measuring, installing, servicing, and repairing manual and electric roller shutters, ensuring every job is completed to the highest professional standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Measure doors and openings accurately for roller shutter installation.
- Install manual and electric roller shutters per manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare work areas and carry out safe, professional installations.
- Remove old shutters and replace or upgrade damaged systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in shutters, motors, tracks, springs, and controls.
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret measurements, plans, and installation instructions.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding installation and operation.
- Maintain clean, safe worksites and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete all required job paperwork,



including measurements and installation reports.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Previous experience installing roller shutters, security doors, blinds, or windows.
- Strong practical and mechanical skills, including accurate measuring and assessment.
- Competency with hand and power tools, plus arc welding of mild steel components.
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and varying weather conditions.
- Current driver's licence; forklift and scissor lift licences are a plus.
- White Card and relevant trade qualifications or licences preferred.
