Namoi WasteCorp is a family-owned waste management business based in Narrabri. We’re looking for a reliable, practical person to join our team and help with the day-to-day running of our yard.

This is a hands-on role with diverse duties, suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment and keeping things organised.

About the role

Your duties will include:

- General yard work, labouring and keeping work areas clean and tidy.

- Operating equipment including a Bobcat, forklift and excavator, within your training and competency.

- Sorting and segregating waste materials, including crushing oil filters.

- Safely loading and unloading trucks.

- Carrying out basic maintenance on equipment and using hand tools and small machinery.

- Completing equipment pre-start checks and basic job and safety paperwork.

- Working safely and looking after your equipment and the people around you.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is dependable,



willing to get involved and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.

You will need:

- A current NSW driver’s licence, preferably unrestricted.

- A forklift licence.

- A practical approach to safety and the ability to follow instructions.

- The ability to carry out physical work in an outdoor environment.

Experience operating and maintaining machinery, particularly skid steers and excavators, will be highly regarded. Mechanical skills, a truck licence and a First Aid Certificate would also be an advantage.
