An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Estimator / Sales Representative to join a well-established Australian manufacturing business supplying aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. This is a hands-on, business development-focused role for someone who enjoys winning new business, building industry relationships and growing an existing customer base.

Job Responsibilities

- Identify, pursue and secure new residential and commercial sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers, projects and tenders.
- Develop relationships with builders, developers and key construction industry contacts.
- Proactively follow up leads, quotes and tenders to convert opportunities into orders.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for further business.
- Review customer requirements, plans and specifications to develop competitive estimates and proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve successful sales outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with estimating, operations and branch teams to ensure customer expectations are met.




- Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to increase sales and market share.

Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience in sales, business development, estimating or a similar customer-facing role.
- A strong track record of generating recent business and winning sales opportunities.
- Experience in the building, construction, windows and doors, building products or a related industry is highly regarded.
- Ability to understand construction plans, specifications and customer requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to approach new customers and develop relationships.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into sales.
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple quotes, tenders and sales opportunities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, operations and management teams.
- A driven attitude with a genuine interest in building a long-term career within a leading Australian manufacturing business.
