Genesis IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced NSW Government Account Manager to join our team.

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a mature NSW Government portfolio with an established contractor workforce deployed across multiple agencies, existing revenue, strong client relationships and genuine opportunities for growth.

About the Role
As our NSW Government Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of government clients while supporting an established contractor workforce.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing relationships across NSW Government agencies
- Acting as the key point of contact for contractors and clients
- Contractor care, engagement and workforce management
- Managing contract extensions,



renewals and onboarding activities
- Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts
- Partnering with delivery consultants to fulfil new vacancies
- Attending client meetings and strengthening stakeholder relationships
- Growing existing accounts and developing new opportunities

What We're Looking For
This role is ideally suited to someone who has previously managed a Government recruitment desk and understands the contingent labour environment.

You will bring:

- Experience recruiting within NSW Government
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with contingent workforce arrangements
- Exposure to vendor management systems including SAP Fieldglass and/or Beeline
- Knowledge of government procurement and panel environments
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
