Medical Receptionist / PA - Specialist Practice

Key responsibilities

- Manage appointment bookings efficiently for patients

- Handle calls with professionalism and empathy, both incoming and outgoing

- Take care of general administration duties and ensure accurate data entry

- Manage billing processes, including Medicare and Hospital/Private Health claims

- Cultivate strong relationships with valued patients

- Coordinate the booking of procedures at private and public hospitals, including patient admissions

- Handle daily banking activities

- Manage a specific doctor's calendar effectively

- Review appointment and procedure booking calendars to ensure smooth workflow





- Maintain organized and secure filing of medical records

About you

- Meticulous attention to detail, adept at multitasking, and solid problem-solving abilities

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with composure

- Demonstrated experience in teamwork within a similar setting

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently, following established practice processes

- Professional phone etiquette and impeccable presentation

- Familiarity with Medicare billing and related processes

- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
