What's involved

Welcome to the Bulla team of Product Handlers! All team members will be reporting into the Logistics Systems & Inventory, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks at our Dandenong site.

The Dandenong site primarily produces choc-top ice creams on a production and packaging line. You may be required to enter the chiller area for very short periods of time.

Shift Times: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm | ONGOING ROLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

Responsibilities:

- Observe processes and initiate appropriate corrective actions

- Participate in the routine setup, dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of machine and equipment

- Collect correct packaging material in accordance with specifications/instructions

- Maintain the supply of product and packaging materials to ensure continuity of operations

- Package and palletise products to the required specifications

- Move materials and products to and from processes or storage

- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment;

- Use equipment as per safety instructions, and wear protective clothing and equipment as required

- Collect and identify samples

- Record information appropriate to the production and testing processes

- Assist in the provision of training in conjunction with coordinators/trainers





- Undertake training appropriate to the role, as well as personal and group development

- Participate in continuous improvement activities as required

- Continuously improve own capabilities through demonstrated commitment to personal development

- Perform other duties as required or directed

About you:

- Following instructions given by the Supervisor

- Working in a team environment and/or under routine supervision

- Undertaking duties in a safe and responsible manner

- Possessing basic interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to comply with relevant Bulla Policies & Procedures

- Ability to identify faults or hazards, and initiate corrective actions

- Ability to accurately interpret and apply verbal and written work instructions
