IronMerge People are currently recruiting DIDO Utility and Guest Services staff for our client's casual workforce pool across Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, including Moranbah, Coppabella, Dysart, Middlemount, Nebo and surrounding locations.

These are Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roles only. Applicants must have a current driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle to travel to and from remote worksites.
Opportunities are offered based on operational demand and may include short-term assignments, leave coverage and ongoing casual work.

About the Roles
Utility Workers – Duties may include:

- Kitchen and Dining – dishes, pot wash, cleaning and basic food preparation
- Housekeeping – cleaning and servicing accommodation rooms
- Tavern, retail and coffee shop operations
- General village cleaning, laundry and other Utility duties

Guest Services Assistants – Duties may include:

- Reception, guest check-ins/check-outs and accommodation bookings
- Reservations, room allocations and guest enquiries
- EFTPOS transactions, cash handling and retail sales
- General administration, reporting and guest services support

Applicants must be flexible to work across relevant departments and day or nightshift as required.
Essential Criteria

- Australian Citizen,



New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident – temporary visa holders will not be considered
- Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle for DIDO travel – essential
- Living within a safe, driveable distance to work
- Recent Australian FIFO/DIDO village services experience OR minimum 2 years' recent hospitality experience in hotels, accommodation, high-volume catering or similar
- Ability to work shifts of up to 10–12 hours and meet the physical requirements of the role
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months, or willingness to obtain one
- Basic computer/smartphone skills for onboarding and timesheets
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork

Highly Regarded

- Previous remote mining village experience
- INX, SAMs, Pronto or similar systems experience for Guest Services
- Reception, reservations, administration or Microsoft Office experience
