We are seeking an enthusiastic Industrial Automation Engineer to join our growing team. With over 20 years of industry experience, we specialise in industrial automation, robotics, control systems, automated manufacturing and material handling solutions.

Our multidisciplinary team of electricians, automation engineers, mechanical engineers and fitters delivers electrical, automation and mechanical engineering solutions to customers across Victoria and interstate. This is a varied, hands-on role offering exciting projects, ongoing learning and long-term career development.

Key responsibilities

- Develop, program and commission industrial automation and control systems.

- Assist with PLC programming, robotics, troubleshooting and fault finding.

- Support customers with technical issues and deliver effective engineering solutions.

- Collaborate with the team on automation, electrical and mechanical projects.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience or demonstrated knowledge in industrial control systems, Python programming, data management and repositories, robotics, and industrial automation.





- Familiarity with Beckhoff automation systems and Ignition SCADA will be highly regarded.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.

- Ability to provide technical support to customers, diagnose complex issues and communicate solutions clearly and professionally.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

- A proactive approach to learning, continuous improvement and interested in the development of innovative automation solutions.
