St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar is seeking a caring and energetic Co-Educator to join our Early Learning Centre team at our Berwick campus.

This is a part-time role working three days a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7.45am–3.45pm. You’ll support the planning and delivery of a stimulating, developmentally appropriate program where young children feel safe, welcomed and ready to learn.

About the role

You will:

- Support teachers to prepare and deliver indoor and outdoor learning activities

- Work with individual children and small groups during activities and transitions

- Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment

- Actively supervise children, including during emergency procedures

- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Assist with observations, progress records and confidential documentation

- Take part in team meetings and professional learning

The program reflects the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.

About you

You’re warm, flexible and committed to helping children feel secure, included and supported. You’ll also have:

- A Diploma of Children’s Services or higher





- An approved first aid certificate, including HLTAID012

- Current CPR, Emergency Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management accreditation

- Child Protection training that meets Victorian requirements

- A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check

- Solid communication and relationship-building skills

Experience with, or knowledge of, the Primary Years Programme is an advantage but isn’t essential.
