About the role

This is a varied, hands-on position combining workshop production with on-site signage installation.

Working alongside our production and project teams, you’ll be responsible for helping ensure signage is manufactured accurately, prepared properly and installed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manufacturing, preparing and installing a wide range of commercial signage.

- Applying vinyl graphics, laminating prints, mounting graphics and preparing signage substrates.

- Installing window graphics, wall graphics, vehicle graphics,



panels, building and illuminated signage and other signage products.

- Measuring/Surveying , marking out, assembling and preparing signage for installation.

- Operating production equipment, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Reading and following job sheets, drawings and installation specifications.

- Preparing materials, equipment and tools to ensure installations run efficiently.

- Completing quality checks to ensure work meets customer expectations and EXBO’s standards.

- Identifying potential issues early and communicating solutions before they become bigger problems.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop and installation environment.

- Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.

Importantly, you’ll be expected to take ownership of your work from start to finish, rather than simply completing individual tasks.

What we’re looking for

Technical skills are important, but attitude, accountability and pride in your work are equally important to us.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in signage production, installation or a closely related trade.

- Is confident using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.

- Has practical experience applying vinyl and working with common signage materials.

- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

- Understands the importance of completing jobs safely, on time and to specification.

- Can work independently without needing constant supervision.

- Works well within a team and is willing to help wherever required.

- Communicates clearly and raises issues rather than leaving them for someone else.

- Is organised, reliable and takes responsibility for their actions.





- Has a positive attitude towards learning, feedback and continuous improvement.

- Holds a current driver’s licence.

Additional experience that would be highly regarded:

- Large-format printing, laminating and vinyl cutting equipment.

- CNC routing and signage fabrication.

- Experience working with aluminium composite panels, acrylic and other signage substrates.

- Vehicle graphics and wrapping.

- White Card, Working at Heights and EWP qualifications.

- Experience installing illuminated or architectural signage.

You don’t need to know everything. If you have strong practical skills, the right attitude and a willingness to learn, we’d still like to hear from you.
