About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the delivery team and play a key role in bringing a landmark Sydney project to life.

As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Engineers, design teams and subcontractors to support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure works. You will be responsible for coordinating engineering, planning and construction activities across allocated work areas, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, to budget and in accordance with project requirements.

This is an opportunity to join a major project from an early stage and contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of critical infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate engineering delivery across allocated work areas and construction activities.

- Manage design interfaces, RFIs, technical queries and construction documentation.

- Assist with planning, programming and monitoring project progress.

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.

- Support procurement activities and the timely delivery of materials and resources.

- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with quality,



safety and environmental requirements.

- Monitor project costs, programme performance and associated risks.

- Assist in resolving technical and construction challenges on site.

- Prepare project reports, inspections, ITPs and completion documentation.

About You

You will be an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background delivering infrastructure, civil construction, rail, tunnelling, stations or major building and transport projects.

We are looking for someone who brings:

- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

- Experience delivering construction works within a major project environment.

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles and project controls.

- Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and project interfaces.

- Sound commercial and contractual awareness.

- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.

- A strong commitment to safety, quality and project outcomes.

Experience across rail, metro, underground stations, tunnelling or major transport infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
