Experienced Protection Officer Level 1 (PO1) – PTA Network, WA

We are currently seeking an experienced Protection Officer Level 1 (PO1) for short-term night shift work across the PTA rail network in Perth's northern suburbs.

The work will involve providing rail protection and ensuring all activities are carried out safely in accordance with PTA requirements.

Role Details:
Location: Joondalup Station & Eglinton Station, WA
Dates: 27th & 28th October 2026
Shift: Night shift only
Start Time: Approximately 8:00pm or 10:00pm
Hours: 8–10 hours per shift
Pay Rate: $49.50 per hour (night shift)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide PO1 protection across the PTA rail network
Ensure protected working practices are maintained at all times




Coordinate with site supervisors and relevant personnel
Monitor work activities and ensure compliance with rail safety procedures
Maintain clear communication with all workers in office

Requirements:
Current PTA Protection Officer Level 1 (PO1) competency
Previous experience working on the PTA network
Robust understanding of rail safety and protection procedures
Relevant rail inductions and competencies
Available for both night shifts
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
