Cook and Chef – Full Time | BIN 232 Broadbeach (Pacific Fair)

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

Sequre Care Pty Ltd is recruiting on behalf of Stag Antler Eatery Pty Ltd trading as BIN 232 Broadbeach, a busy venue at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast. We are hiring for two positions: Cook and Chef.

About the roles

Chef

Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order supplies

Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistent standard

Supervise and train kitchen staff, and lead service during busy periods

Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS standards

Cook

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus

Set up and maintain workstations, and prep ingredients before service

Store food at the correct temperatures and rotate stock

Keep the kitchen and equipment clean





Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

About you

Chef

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), and

At least 2 years of relevant commercial kitchen experience

Cook

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), or relevant commercial cooking experience

Both roles

Robust knowledge of food safety and hygiene

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

Available for a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

A reliable team player with positive communication skills
