Position: Commercial Housekeeper

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $72,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Brinsmead QLD 4870

Our client is seeking is seeking a Commercial Housekeeper. The company offers cleaning services (residential or commercial) in Cairns City and surrounds. Their services cover from Palm Cove to Gordonvale.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean building interiors and immediate external areas to maintain a safe, hygienic and professional workplace.
Sweep, mop and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets; and clean curtains and upholstered furniture as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures and fittings, and clean frequently touched surfaces.
Collect rubbish, empty waste containers and transfer waste to designated disposal areas.
Restock guest and workplace supplies, including drinking glasses, linen, bathroom items and other consumables.
Strip and make beds, replace bed linen and maintain rooms to a clean and presentable standard where required.
Maintain kitchen areas by washing dishes and utensils and cleaning appliances, cupboards,



counters, pantries and floors.
Sort, wash, dry and iron linen and clothing where these duties form part of the assigned housekeeping work.
Assist with setting and clearing tables and basic food or beverage service when required by the workplace.
Follow workplace procedures, hygiene standards, safe chemical handling requirements and work health and safety practices.

Requirements:
AQF Certificate I qualification or completion of compulsory secondary education
At least three (3) years of relevant experience working as a Commercial Housekeeper.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
A friendly, qualified manner with a strong commitment to customer service.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Positive physical fitness to meet the physical demands of the role.
