Summer Chef Opportunities

Full-time and casual roles across all venues

Summer is one of the most exciting times to be part of Merivale. We’re looking for chefs to join our teams in full-time and casual roles across our venues.

Opportunities are available at a range of levels, including:
Commis Chefs
Demi Chefs
Chef de Parties
Junior Sous Chefs
Sous Chefs
Casual chefs - all levels

Qualifications

The Role

You’ll work alongside a passionate kitchen team, preparing quality food and helping deliver the experience each venue is known for. Depending on the role, you’ll prepare and present dishes, keep your section organised,



support smooth service and maintain food safety and kitchen standards.

About you

You bring a positive attitude, pride in your work and a genuine interest in food and hospitality. You may be starting out or bring experience from a busy kitchen. We’re looking for people who care about the food they prepare, work well with others, stay organised during service and are keen to learn.
