We are a Perth-based service company specialising in the maintenance, repair and upgrade of concrete batching plants across the Perth metro region. Our work covers multiple disciplines including electrical, controls, automation, mechanical and plumbing systems.

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Fitter / Mechanical Technician to join our team. The role involves working across multiple concrete batching plants and industrial facilities, performing mechanical maintenance, repairs and plant upgrades.

This position suits someone who enjoys varied work, problem-solving and working across a range of plant equipment including conveyors, mixers, pumps, pneumatic systems and associated mechanical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include :
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on batching plant equipment
Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, gearboxes, mixers, pumps and mechanical drive systems
Carry out installation and upgrade works on plant equipment and infrastructure
Maintain and service pneumatic systems, valves and actuators




Assist with plant shutdowns, inspections and preventative maintenance activities
Conduct equipment inspections and identify wear, damage or operational issues
Work alongside electricians and technicians during plant upgrades and modifications

Skills and experience required :
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, or similar
Experience in industrial maintenance settings (concrete batching plants, quarrying, manufacturing or similar industries highly regarded)
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience with conveyors, rotating equipment, pumps and gearboxes
Basic fabrication and welding experience advantageous
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Valuable practical and hands-on mechanical aptitude

Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 50 per week
