About the Role We are looking for a reliable, rapid-paced Chef or Cook to take ownership of our kitchen operations at our busy CBD takeaway store. This is a dream role for a hospitality professional looking for a work-life balance—get your 38 hours done during the week and keep your weekends for yourself.

You will be working independently in a high-volume environment. Most of our food arrives fresh from our production kitchen; your role is to manage the final prep, cooking, and presentation to ensure our display cabinets and catering platters are always full and looking sharp.

Your Key Responsibilities :
Preparation & Cooking : Setting up salad trays, cooking hot meals (curries, lasagnas), and baking off pies and sausage rolls for daily service and catering.
Catering Excellence : Assembling high-quality catering platters with precision and speed.
Kitchen Management : Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including dishwashing and strictly following Food Health & Safety protocols.




Independent Flow : Managing your own prep list and ensuring food is ready for peak CBD lunch rushes.
