National Webbing Products Pty Ltd, a leader in the webbing industry, has an opportunity for full time Webbing Textile Operator/ Technician to join our friendly team in Doveton/Dandenong. We provide the opportunity to learn our manufacturing process and specialist machinery to produce webbing related products, while exceeding customer expectations.
Ideally have experience in warping and weaving of webbings or têxtile materials
Be punctual, reliable, committed, self-motivated and able to work to a high standard
Be able to work as part of a team and unsupervised to deadlines
Be willing to learn
Be physically fit and able
Have strong organisational skills
Forklift license desirable
Previous experience in a similar role or a manufacturing, assembling or factory environment is desirable but not essential. An understanding of OH&S; and Quality Assurance processes and procedures is also beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
Warping, weaving and dyeing webbing
Operation, monitoring and maintenance of warping, weaving and dyeing machines while keeping efficiency and productivity to high levels
Measuring, marking and cutting of webbing and other fabric such as canvas and PVC
Working within the production team to ensure deadlines are met
Ensuring cleanliness of factory and work areas
Assisting with pack, finish and dispatch of customer orders and receipt of deliveries
