Package Stream B, Operational Services – Level 5; plus, relevant allowances Croydon Shire Council is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Trades Assistant to support Council's trades, maintenance and operational teams. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in keeping things organised and is happy to pitch in wherever needed to support the day-to-day operations of Council. As a Trades Assistant, you'll provide general labouring and workshop support to trade and maintenance staff, helping ensure equipment, tools, materials and work areas are kept secure, clean and organised. Key Responsibilities

Assist trades and maintenance staff with general labouring tasks Support mechanical and maintenance activities Handle, organise and transport equipment, tools and materials Maintain clean,



protected and organised workshops and depot facilities Clean and organise sheds, workshops and storage areas Remove unwanted rubbish and materials from work areas Undertake other duties consistent with your skills, training and competence Skills & Experience Required
