The role
We are looking for an experienced Plasterer (Wall & Ceiling) to join our site teams on commercial projects across South Australia. You will install and finish wall and ceiling systems to a high standard, working safely, on schedule and to the builder’s specifications.

Duties
Read and interpret architectural drawings, ceiling plans and specifications, and set out work accordingly
Install suspended grid ceilings and plasterboard ceilings, including specialised and architectural ceiling installations
Measure, cut, fix and fasten plasterboard sheets to walls and ceilings
Construct fire-rated compartments,



air risers and air plenums to the relevant standards
Install insulation and acoustic products within wall and ceiling systems
Apply base coats, tape and set joints, stop and sand plasterboard to a paint-ready finish
Install cornices, trims and access panels, and carry out repairs and patching
Maintain quality control and complete work within agreed timeframes and budgets
Follow site safety plans, SWMS and WHS requirements, and keep the work area clean and tidy
Work cooperatively with supervisors, other trades and the principal builder

About you
Trade qualification in plastering/wall and ceiling lining, or equivalent experience
Able to read plans and work from drawings
White Card (general construction induction) is required; a current SA driver’s licence and own hand tools are preferred
Strong attention to detail, positive time management and a safety-first attitude
Reliable, a valuable team player, with good English communication skills
